The Association of Research Pharmacists in Zimbabwe

Initially established in April 2004, as Pharmacists in Research, the ARPZ was born to promote the involvement of pharmacists in HIV/AIDS research, treatment and care. However with time, it was realised that we were blessed with Pharmacists involved in other areas of research and practice, hence the NAME, AIMS, GOALS of the association were modified to fit this new scope. This saw the official birth of Association of Research Pharmacists in Zimbabwe (A.R.P.Z) with a core group of 12 members. One of the notable achievements of the Association is its involvement in the current Continuous Education activities in collaboration with the Mashonaland/Manicaland branch of the Pharmaceutical Society of Zimbabwe (PSZ) as well as becoming an affiliate organisation to the PSZ.
